Organizing My Home - Part 1: Arts & Crafts

pictorial, home organization, organization1 min read

One of my long-term goals is to express myself creatively, which means making it easier and visible to access the materials I need to do creative projects. Plus, I've been rewatching The Home Edit lately, and I can't get enough. Unfortunately, I don't have a lazy susan organizer, but so everything is squared off into smaller sections.

My organization goals were:

  • Use up excess stationery
  • Start gouache paintings
  • Practice hand-lettering/calligraphy
  • Do more paper art projects

Here are the results!

The categorical labels were done on scrap corrugated plastic boards, with double-layered washi tape on top, and magnetic strips on the back so I can move them around as needed.

The tools' labels were done similarly, but with tacky putties on the backs. Also a non-permanent backing in case I change my mind in the future.
